ICEP - The International Cultural Exchange Program Scholarship Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which was established in Turkey in 1995 under the auspices of the Turkish Prime Ministry Department of Charitable Foundations.

The purpose of the Foundation is to provide cultural exchange opportunities for young people and students around the world, with the added aim of introducing Turkey, its history, heritage and culture to young foreigners. It is our belief that encouraging people to explore other cultures will help to advance international understanding in future. To this end, we provide a wide range of services, including internships, holiday exchanges, educational programs, correspondence links and au pair placements to over 20,000 youngsters every year.

The ICEP Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors and is administered by its own staff. The Foundation’s main objectives are as follows:

- To enable young people from all over the world to learn about Turkey, its history, and its culture.
- To increase international understanding by arranging visits to Turkey for young people from other countries.
- To encourage young Turkish people to visit other countries and learn about their culture and heritage.
- To promote cultural exchange and foster peace and understanding throughout the world.
