Au Pair in England

Before  Applying: Terms of Our Conditions

WE HAVE BEEN PLACING TURKISH AU-PAIRS IN THE UK SINCE 1986
This program is open for British families living in Britain only. The families interested in engaging an au pair from Turkey and sharing their family life with them should submit the following application form to ICEP Foundation. The application form is designed to provide as much information as possible about your family. The more ICEP knows about your family's needs, the more effective our placement process will be for you.

Our Services are totally free of charge! No Registration Fee... No Agency Fee... No Introduction Fee.... No Hidden Charges!

Families who employ an au-pair must:

  • Live in an area where there is a Language school nearby.(45 minutes journey time)

  • Provide the aupair their own private room and meals

  • Be British citizens; be native speakers of English

  • Respect the au pair's agreed free times and off days.

  • Pay the au pair's agreed pocket money each week (min £ 75)

  • Facilitate the au pair's requirement to attend courses for not less than four hours each week or its equivalent at an institution of higher education.

  • Treat the au pair as an "extended family" member, not as an employee

  • Include the au pair, whenever possible, in family meals, outings, holidays and other events

  • Agree that one or both parents or other responsible adult remain home during the first two days after the au pair's arrival to help in training and acclimating the au pair to his/her child care responsibilities, the home and the area

  • Understand that an au pair cannot have sole responsibility for a child under 24 months of age

  • Understand that an au pair's responsibilities do not include housework unrelated to the children such as cleaning the home, doing all the laundry or running an entire household when parents are absent regularly for business or personal travel.

Please indicate if you agree (or disagree) with the above contract:

I AGREE WITH AND WILL ABIDE BY THE ABOVE CONDITIONS
